Merry Christmas

Christmas was beautiful at STA. We have living Nativities at both the Christmas Eve Family Mass at 5:30 p.m. [and Santa made a quick visit prior to setting off on his Christmas deliveries :-) ] and at the Christmas Day Spanish Mass! The joy of the children participants was inspiring!

On behalf of all of us at ST. Thomas Aquinas Church we wish you a blessed and happy Christmas season!

To all of our parishioners and our web visitors!

It is our joy to bring you Christmas greetings and to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you are and you have done for our parish community. This is the time of year when our thoughts turn with longing to the central mystery of our faith, the incarnation ~ the enfleshment of God in the Person of Jesus. Always at the heart of our Christmas celebration is the greatest gift of love the world has ever seen. We are not now and will never again be alone! The angel's invitation on this sacred night to the shepherds watching their sheep to come and to celebrate the birth of Christ still echoes to us 2,000 years later. We encourage all who read this note to mark the birth of our Saviour by celebrating with our community at St. Thomas Aquinas. We invite you to come home for Christmas, to reverence our God and gather with us around the Lord's table. Our God has come to save us and He awaits you! May this Christmas inspire each one of us to become more like Christ, the Gift of God, to our family, friends, and the other members of our community. For greater than any gift of the Magi is the gift of yourselves given to our parish and the world. As we prepare for the arrival of Christmas, we are grateful for the rich gift of our different traditions and rituals. Each one of you bring something special to our community and our parish is blessed by the diversity of its members. Every year the traditions of Christmas fill us with the trust that even in these difficult times, we too will know the saving power of God. May the blessings of the Holy Infant Jesus fill your homes and your lives, and may the coming New Year bring us lasting peace and happiness!

~ FELIZ NAVIDAD ~ ~ MERRY CHRISTMAS ~

Sincerely,Fr. Jesús & Fr. John
